A 20 year old Athlone man died yesterday after his car was in collision with a lorry at Kells, Co Meath, at about 7.50 a.m. He was named as Noel Dunning, of Carrickobrien.
Also yesterday, gardai released the names of the teenager and the elderly man killed in road accidents on Thursday night. Peter Gilsenan (15), of Oldcastle, Co Meath, was fatally injured when he was struck by a car at Millbrook Road. Dan Foran (70), of Casement Avenue, Tralee, was struck by a car in Tralee.
