Red J.P. is a familiar Portuguese friend, but I've never tasted it's pale sister, J.P. Branco NV (outlets above, usually £3.99).
And yes, it's another smasher. Not only is the price miraculous, but the wine is a welcome change with it's refreshing, unusual fruit basket of flavours. Apples, lemons, peaches, apricots, spice . . . Great for summer parties - and for sharpening up your tasting skills!
