Boy (10) killed by car in Dublin

A 10-year-old boy was killed yesterday when he was struck by a car while crossing the Blanchardstown by-pass in Dublin.

A 10-year-old boy was killed yesterday when he was struck by a car while crossing the Blanchardstown by-pass in Dublin.

The accident happened at 5.45 p.m. near Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. The boy, who was from the area, was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. A youth who was with him at the time of the accident was not injured.
