Cocaine worth an estimated €300,000 was seized at Cork Airport today.

Cocaine worth an estimated €300,000 was seized at Cork Airport today.

The drug haul was discovered concealed in the luggage of a man and a woman who arrived in the country on a flight from Nairobi, via Amsterdam.

Customs officers uncovered around four kilograms of the drug in the lining of their luggage this morning.

Both passengers, who carried German passports, have been arrested in connection with the find. They are being held at Togher garda station.
