It is the time of the year for celebrations and Iarnród Éireann have announced extra late night services to help people get home.

Late night services were reintroduced in Dublin last year for the first time in more than a decade.

This year the Dundalk and Maynooth train lines will be part of the expanded services and fares will be charged at the normal rate.

The new services will start this Friday and run until after New Year’s Eve.
