Ireland's first counselling service for people with disabilities has been introduced by the Irish Wheelchair Association and the National Council for the Blind in Ireland.

The service, which is supported by the EU Horizon Programme, will deal with issues such as sexuality, dependency and bereavement in a disability context. It will be operated by trained counsellors, all of whom have disabilities.
