Nicosia - A traditional binge over Greek Orthodox Easter sent hundreds of Cypriots to hospital last weekend because they ate too much, doctors said yesterday. Of about 1,000 patients treated at emergency wards on the island from Saturday to Monday, more than 200 were suffering from colic or gastric symptoms associated with overeating, said Dr Costas Antoniades, of the casualty department.
