Washington - A Pakistani national, Mir Aimal Kasi, was sentenced to death yesterday for the 1993 killing of two CIA employees, a court spokesman said in Fairfax, Virginia, just outside Washington. The jury of six men and six women deliberated seven hours over two days before recommending the death penalty for the 33-year-old Kasi, who was found guilty on Monday."I'm very satisfied with the verdict they returned. I've felt for 4-1/2 years that it was a particularly terrible killing," the prosecutor, Mr Bob Horan, said in a post-hearing press conference. A judge will review the sentence on January 23rd, and could overturn it.
