Bank holiday weather will continue mild if unspectacular with daytime temperatures ranging from around 11°c in the east to 16°c in the west. And though cloudy, it will be generally dry.
The dry conditions should mean events such as the Heineken Green Energy Festival in Dublin, the Bray Jazz Festival and the Volger Spring Festival in Sligo should be well attended and therefore traffic disruption is likely.
Horse-racing at Fairyhouse and Kilkenny is also likely to cause traffic disruption in the early afternoon andearly evening.
Heuston station remains closed until midday tomorrow for construction work to the railway bridge over Sarsfield Road between the station and Inchicore.
Bus transfers will operate between Hueston and intermediate stations in Athy, Sallins and Newbridge, connecting with intercity train services.
Bus transfers are also in operation on the Dublin to Sligo line between Boyle, Co Roscommon and Sligo.
Bus-users in Dublin will discover new City Centre termini taking permanent effect from today. The changes are to facilitate LUAS construction works. There will be new termini for routes 5, 7, 7A, 7X, 8, 25, 25A, 26, 37, 38, 38A, 39, 66, 66A, 66B, 67, 67A, 70 and 134. Minor routing changes will apply to 39X, 66X, 67X, 70X and 172.
