The impact of the Celtic Tiger boom on Irish society will be assessed in a new study published today.
The ESRI think-tank is to present the results of its latest research on economic changes in the country.
Best of Times? - The Social Impact of the Celtic Tiger Irelandwill be unveiled by Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.
"The report will help to inform public debate and to ensure that our thinking is well grounded as we face new challenges," said an ESRI spokesman.
"The purpose of this book is to bring to public attention the results of the latest evidence-based research on the social impact of recent economic change in Ireland," the spokesman added.
