The Garda will question Mr Greg Fox about the death of his wife and two young sons, found stabbed and bludgeoned to death at the family home in Co Westmeath last Saturday, as soon as his doctors permit them.

this evening the Garda hoped to interview 32-year-old Mr Fox over the next few days, but would be guided by the advice of the medics treating him.
Mr Fox is recovering in Merlin Park Hospital in Galway from injuries sustained following the incident at the family home in Castledaly, Co Westmeath.
His sons Cillian and Trevor, aged seven and nine, and their thirty-year-old mother, Debbie, died from multiple stab wounds in their home in in the early hours of Saturday morning. It is also understood that a hurley removed from the house was one of the weapons used.
Post-mortem results on the three have been released to the Garda, but detectives say they are not being made public for "operational reasons".
This evening, Sgt Cuttle said the Garda would wait to officially question Mr Fox who is believed to be in shock over the incident.
"He’s gone through a loss himself", Sgt Cuttle said.
