Fine Gael yesterday called on the Government to support the Co Louth residents who are taking legal action against British Nuclear Fuels over the Thorp Nuclear Processing Plant at Sellafield.
The party's spokesman on Public Enterprise, Mr Ivan Yates, said the Government's offer of £200,000 to the residents was entirely inadequate.
