Abuja - The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) said yesterday its peacekeeping troops had driven rebels from the State House near the centre of the Sierra Leone capital of Freetown. "The rebels are now being pushed out of Freetown following reinforcement by ECOMOG," a statement from the regional grouping said from its headquarters in the Nigerian capital Abuja.
