Gardaí in Galway are searching for two men who held a woman hostage in her own home yesterday before escaping with cash and jewellery.
The woman was locked in a room in her own house for three-quarters of an hour as the two men searched for valuables.
The men, wearing balaclavas and gloves, entered the house at Cul Ard in Wellpark on the east of the city shortly after 8.30am. One of the men is described as being slim and about 5 ft 10in.
