Police are searching for a gang of five men who attacked a 28-year-old man in his home in Co Tyrone this morning.
The man was attacked between 2.15am and 2.45am in his living room in Stewart Avenue in Cookstown.
Three children were in the house at the time but were not injured.
Gang members were armed with a knife and a snooker cue. They were wearing blue denim jeans and dark clothing with red logos.
Their victim sustained cuts and bruises including a swollen and bruised left knee.
Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
