Limerick gardaí are investigating the alleged abduction and assault of a man early yesterday morning.

Limerick gardaí are investigating the alleged abduction and assault of a man early yesterday morning.

The man, who is in his thirties, was allegedly abducted by three men from the main street of Croom, Co Limerick, and driven to the village of Bruree where he was found at the side of the road.

The incident was reported to the Garda shortly after 7 a.m. yesterday.
