British Airways operates two scheduled flights a week year-round from London Gatwick to Grand Cayman, via Nassau, where passengers do not disembark. Return flights start from £550 sterling per person. There are connecting flights from Dublin to London with a range of companies, including British Airways. The Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman offers rates from £125 sterling a night for two (based on double occupancy) in the summer season.

The currency is the Cayman Island dollar, which is on a fixed rate of exchange to the US dollar (US$1 = CI$0.80) and US dollars are accepted everywhere. Visitors are advised to take US dollars for cash and travellers' cheques and credit cards are widely accepted.
