Manchester - An eight-year-old girl, who had said she was being bullied by classmates at her primary school, committed suicide by hanging herself with a skipping rope. An inquiry has been opened to determine if it was bullying which led Marie Bentham to kill herself. "Marie said that she was being bullied at school and did not want to go back," her aunt, Ms Karen Bentham, said.
She hanged herself in her bedroom after having a row with her five-year-old sister and being sent to her room by her mother on Saturday, who later found her.
