Gunmen kill 4 in Berne cafe

Zurich - Unknown gunmen shot dead four people in a closed cafe, the Tea Room Safari, in the centre of the normally quiet Swiss capital of Berne, police said yesterday. Witnesses saw three or four presumed assailants flee the scene late on Monday night, police said. The identities of the dead were not released and no motive was immediately clear.
