Male SSIA savers will be splashing out on entertainment systems, while women will be heading off on exotic holidays, a new website has claimed.
According to Spendyourssia.ie, which has some 10,000 members, top of the list for men when the accounts mature is a state-of-the-art entertainment system, followed by a long-haul tailor-made holiday and home improvements.
A city break and a new car make up the remainder of the top five.
Women favour exotic sun holidays, followed by city breaks, home improvements, new cars and new kitchens.

The site allows members to register their spending preferences, and has released spending trends based on the results.
