The former president of the ASTI, Ms Bernadine O'Sullivan, has said she was disappointed the ICTU had not supported the ASTI in its campaign for pay increases.
"Their silence was deafening, and our members feel very disappointed by that because we had been model trade unionists," she said.
Ms O'Sullivan was speaking on RTE's Five Seven Live.
