Liege - The inquiry into the suspected child killer, Mr Marc Dutroux, is progressing so slowly it would be premature to go ahead with the trial as planned in autumn 1998, the lawyer for two of the victims' families said yesterday. "It has been suggested that the trial could take place in autumn, 1998," said Mr Victor Hissel, lawyer for the parents of Julie Lejeune and Melissa Russo. - (AFP)
