Three units of Dublin Fire Brigade brought a fire in the basement of a restaurant on South Great Georges Street under control this afternoon.

The fire started at about 1.30pm in the Japanese restaurant Yamamori.

Diners and guests at the nearby Central Hotel were evacuated and no-one was injured.
