A bartender from Dublin won the Powers World Irish Coffee Making Championship in Foynes, Co Limerick, at the weekend

A bartender from Dublin won the Powers World Irish Coffee Making Championship in Foynes, Co Limerick, at the weekend. An employee of Bowes lounge, Fleet Street, Dublin, Mr James Murphy (35), received a cheque for £1,000 and a crystal trophy. He won from seven finalists from the US, Australia, England and Ireland.

The competition was part of the Foynes Powers Irish Coffee Festival.
