An Irishman (20) was killed and eight other people injured after a head-on car crash in Western Australia.
Eight people were in a car in the Bedford suburb of Perth late yesterday evening when the driver reportedly lost control.
Four Irish people were injured, including a 20-year-old woman who has suffered severe head injuries. The others are described as stable.
The man who died was a front seat passenger in the car.
It is understood the Toyota Corolla crashed through a central barrier and crossed to the wrong side of the road before colliding with a car going in the opposite direction.
A woman (64) who was driving the second car was also injured.
