Brazilian international Mario Jardel is set to sign with FC Porto after the Portuguese club reached a cash-plus-players dealwith top Turkish outfit Galatasaray.
"We have agreed with Porto officials on Jardel for eight million dollars plus three players," the Istanbul club's spokesman Aziz Ustel said.
According to Ustel the players to join the 2000 UEFA Cup winners on three-year contracts would be Ricardo Costa, Dmitri Alenitchev and Bino.
He added that Jardel and his manager were still negotiating with Porto manager Paulo Barbosa.
"Everything is settled on our side. If Jardel reaches an agreement as well, he could go to Portugal tomorrow and sign a contract," Ustel said.
Jardel, 27, joined Galatasaray last year for a fee of around 25 million dollars from FC Porto and scored 34 times for the Istanbul club in his firstseason.
He had been Portugal's topscorer for four years with Porto from 1997-2000.
