The jury in the trial of a 22-year-old Carlow man charged with the murder of a teenage father-of-one has been sent to a hotel to continue their deliberations overnight.

Mr John Dillon with an address at Granby Row, Carlow pleaded not guilty to the murder of Warren Slater, aged at Granby Row on May 13th, 2001.
