The Lagan Valley MP, Mr Jeffrey Donaldson, has been replaced by his Ulster Unionist colleague, the Newry and Armagh Assembly member, Mr Danny Kennedy, in the Industrial Development Board's current investment tour of the US following the sudden death of Mr Donaldson's mother-in-law in Kilkeel last Tuesday. Mr Kennedy was called in by the UUP leader, Mr David Trimble, to represent the party alongside the SDLP's Mr Mark Durkan, the Northern Industry Minister, Mr Adam Ingram, and leading IDB members.
