A security scare brought chaos for British commuters tonight when one of London's busiest stations was cleared because of fears that there had been an explosion.
The alarm was raised at King's Cross after a member of the public reported hearing a bang, Scotland Yard said.
But when Metropolitan and British Transport Police officers searched the station nothing was found.
The station was evacuated while the search took place.
