Police in the North have ruled out any paramilitary involvement in the murder of Down woman Lisa Dorrian.

The PSNI today launched an ad campaign on the second anniversary of her disappearance to encourage people who may know what happened to her to come forward with information.
Ms Dorrian (25) went missing after she set off for a party at a caravan park at Ballyhalbert on the Ards peninsula in Co Down. Her body has never been found and the PSNI believe her body was taken out to sea some months after she was murdered.
A PSNI spokesman told ireland.comthat police did not believe a paramilitary group was behind her murder.
It was widely reported at the time of her disappearance that she was friendly with a group of people that included members of the Loyalist Volunteer Force who were involved with drugs and violence.
A PSNI officer said: "A very small number of people were involved in Lisa's murder and the disposal of her body.
"They know who they are and they are going to have to live with that for the rest of their lives and, while they are not before the courts today, police will continue the investigation with that objective," he added.
