A man who died yesterday following a car crash in Co Kerry has been named today as Declan McCarthy (24) from Balinglanna, Ballyheigue.
The man died in hospital after a crash in the early hours of Sunday morning.
He was the driver of a car which struck a wall at Kilcooley, Ardfert. No-one else was involved and gardaí at Ballyheigue are investigating.
A total of 114 people have died so far this year on the State's roads.
