A man was found dead on a street today after being punched in a drunken row, it was claimed.

Paul Magee, 39, had been drinking with associates when there was an alleged fall out.

Police later arrested a man for questioning about the death and are following a definite line of inquiry.

His body was found in the early hours of this morning in the Shankill Street/Prospect Way area of Lurgan, Co Armagh.

Mr Magee, from Woodville Street in the town, had only been living there a short time.

Meanwhile, two other bodies were found today in the Colby Avenue area of Derry and near flats at Killaney Avenue, Lisburn, in unrelated circumstances.

Police are treating the Lisburn discovery as suspicious. The body was found by a resident at maisonettes in the Old Warren estate area and the cause of death has not been determined.

The Derry incident is being treated as a death from natural causes.
