Detectives investigating the murder of 28-year-old Brian McGlynn in the Fountain Hill area of Derry on June 3rd 2007, have arrested a 27-year-old man.
Brian McGlynn, originally from Strabane, Co Tyrone, was killed in his bed at his home in front of his girlfriend.
A gang of two men burst into the bedroom and shot their victim several times. He died instantly.
Detectives have previously said that the killing may have been linked to Mr McGlynn's work as a nightclub doorman in the city.
