A man who is charged with the murder of a Co Roscommon couple was sent forward for trial to the current sitting of the Central Criminal Court when he appeared before Galway District Court yesterday.

Mr Mark Nash (24), with an address at Clonliffe Road, Dublin, is charged with the murder of Mr Carl Doyle and his wife, Ms Catherine Doyle, at Caran, Ballintubber, Co Roscommon, on August 16th last year. Mr Nash is further charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Ms Sarah Jane Doyle on the same date.
