A Co Monaghan man died yesterday in a fire at his home. Mr Michael Murnaghan (69), a bachelor, lived at Drumgor, near the village of Latton.
A neighbour discovered the fire at the farmhouse yesterday morning and raised the alarm.
Mr Murnaghan's body was later discovered inside the building. Gardai said the cause of the fire was unknown but ruled out foul play.
