Man held after Dublin security van raid

A man (29) has been arrested following the robbery of a security van in Dublin.

A man (29) has been arrested following the robbery of a security van in Dublin.

A security man was confronted by a man as he was filling an ATM machine at a shopping centre on Prussia Street shortly after 7am.

The lone raider, who was unarmed, took a cash box with a sum of money. The security man uninjured.

Gardaí later arrested a man at a house off the North Circular Road where the cash box was recovered.

He is being held at the Bridewell Garda station.
