A 44-year-old Cookstown man who sexually abused two of his young nephews over a long period was jailed for seven years yesterday in Belfast. The defendant was convicted at Omagh Crown Court in February of 16 charges, including attempted buggery, indecent assault and indecent conduct, between 1972 and 1994. The man cannot be named to protect the identity of the victims.
