A man was taken to hospital with stab wounds following an incident in Ballymun, Dublin, early yesterday. A Garda spokesman said the assault occurred outside the Thomas Mc Donagh Tower. A group of men had earlier been drinking and one of them was brought to the Mater Hospital after being attacked. A spokeswoman for the hospital said yesterday he was in a stable condition. No one has been charged.
