London - Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise won a place in the celebrated Hall of Fame yesterday when a plaque was unveiled in the name of "This century's finest double act".
Doreen Wise and Joan Morecambe unveiled the plaque during the fifth annual British Comedy Society tribute to commemorate the films made by their late husbands.
