A man accused of murdering a pensioner at his home in the Shankill area of Belfast last January was released on bail in the High Court yesterday. Mr William Murphy Jnr (20), of Battenberg Street, had been in custody for almost a year on a charge of murdering his neighbour, Mr Andrew Spence (78).
