Northern Ireland Energy Holdings (NIEH) today said they have entered discussions with Phoenix Energy Holdings on the possible acquisition of the Phoenix-owned gas transmission pipeline between Islandmagee and Belfast.
NIEH is a company limited by guaruntee and has no shareholders. It was was formed in January 2005 and is the ultimate holding company of the group which owns the Scotland to Northern Ireland pipeline.
NIEH's wholly owned subsidiary, Moyle Energy Investments Ltd is responsible for the acquisition of the company's energy assets and investments.
