Havana - A Cuban court sentenced the four most prominent leaders of the opposition against President Fidel Castro to sentences of between 3 1/2 and five years in jail, a television network reported yesterday.

Vladimiro Roca Antunez, son of Mr Blas Roca, a leader of the ruling Communist Party, was sentenced to five years in prison, one fewer than the prosecution had requested. Rene Gomez Manzano and Felix Bonne Carcaces were sentenced to four years, also one less than the prosecution request. The group's only woman, Martha Beatriz Roque, was sentenced to 3 1/2 years.
