A terrorist guerilla organisation that took 21 tourists hostage last year is thought to be behind the kidnapping of a six-year-old British girl in the Philippines.

It is suspected four members of the Muslim terrorist group called Abu Sayyaf entered the home of Filipina Nina Rasul Grant and demanded 100,000 pesos (£1,500).

It is thought they kidnapped her after her mother could not meet their demand for cash.

Abu Sayyaf Terrorists seized tourists from a diving resort on the Malaysian island of Sipadan in April last year.
