`Phoenix' libel case settled

An action for alleged libel arising out of an article in Phoenix magazine has been settled.

An action for alleged libel arising out of an article in Phoenix magazine has been settled.

The case had been taken by Mr Desmond Coffey, of Inver Gardens, Dublin, against Pen field Enterprises Ltd, Eason & Son Ltd and Zakic Ltd, respectively the publishers, distributors and printers of Phoenix, and was down for hearing at the High Court yesterday. However, after talks between the parties, the judge was told that the matter had been settled.
