AN interim order preventing picketing by two unions, the AEEU and TEEU, at the Lufthansa Airmotive Ireland plant at Baldonnel, Co Dublin, will continue until today, a High Court judge ordered yesterday. Mr Justice Kelly said that the case would be given priority for hearing when it comes before the court today.
The order was granted to the company last Sunday on the application of Lufthansa, which is in dispute with its employees over the use of contract workers.
A third union, SIPTU, has given an undertaking to the court, effective to Monday next, not to engage in industrial action at the plant.
