A light aircraft made a crash landing on the European Golf. Club course in Co Wicklow yesterday afternoon. The plane overshot the runway as it attempted to land at a private airstrip at Brittas Bay. It crashed through two fences before ending up on the golf course.
The two occupants, who were from Scotland and on their way to Kilkenny, were unhurt.
