Police in Northern Ireland are investigating reports of two separate shooting incidents in west Belfast.
Police received a report that two shots had been fired at a house at Waterford Street, at 12.25 am. The two shots struck the front door of the house, which was unoccupied at the time.
A second report said that two more shots had been fired at a house on the Springfield Road, shortly after 1am.
Police are investigating whether the two incidents are connected as a maroon/red is believed to have been used in both incidents.
