Sinn Féin deputy leader Mary Lou McDonald has insisted her party will be in government eventually.

Ms McDonald said it was only a matter of time before the party will be in a position to govern.

She said: “Make no mistake we want to be in government. It is a matter of time. Will it be after the next election? I can’t say.”
