GAISCE, the President's award scheme, has invited the Duke of Edinburgh to visit Ireland on November 10th. On his first trip here, Prince Philip, patron of the corresponding scheme in Britain, will help inaugurate the Millennium Encounter at Dublin Castle. The project involves award participants from both islands. The prince will pay courtesy calls to Aras an Uachtarain and Government Buildings.
