London - The Prince of Wales should be allowed to marry Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles without hindrance from the church, a Tory front-bencher, Mr Gary Streeter, said yesterday. The MP for South West Devon said: "Everyone is entitled to a second chance, aren't they? I very much hope we will have a future king who can find happiness in his personal life." But pressed over whether Mrs Parker Bowles should be allowed to become queen if she married the prince, Mr Streeter declined to speculate.
